Josh & Katie Engaged - Virginia Wedding Photographer

Yes we are Engaged :) I know the ring made it official but for me (Josh) I find having the engagement photos done helps to cement the fact in my mind. Perhaps this is because I don't have a ring to wear, so having official photos done is kind of like my ring. So who took them? We did of course :) I heard it said that you can't do your own engagement photos but being that photography is our life and business it only made sense to shoot them ourselves. Plus Katie won't let me do our wedding photos so I had to do something.

Normally I would like to write up a little something on the engaged couple but we put ourselves out there all over the blog and our website that it would seem to just be repeating ourselves. If you haven't read it already though, I did write a post about  Why Am I Getting Married which you should totally check out.  The weather was very uncooperative for the Family session we had booked for Saturday so when that ended up being rescheduled we decided to head to one of our favorite places, Williamsburg, and do our own engagement photos. The weather ended up being cool but very beautiful for our session and we both had so much fun being in a place we love, with each other doing what we love. So here is what we captured, we are both so happy to share this time of our lives with you.
